MOSSE 220
The vase MOSSE 220 was designed in 2017.
The model and inspiration were the forms of water.
Water droplets that collect in streams, puddles and around the tufts of the moss in the black ditches.
In the soft swells that hit the islands in the lake.
The product development of this vase was based on a composition of different round and oval shapes.
The challenge was to create a sculptural form of several forms.
And to make that form bear a sense of the wild language of nature.
Of all SMAELTA's vases, MOSSE 220 is the most sculptural.
It stretches the boundary between sculpture and functional object.
